Held by Daisy

Held by Daisy

My mother held me in my grief when I lost my infant son. One woman who is held in her grief becomes the woman who holds the next one. My mother’s legacy of love is why I created Held by Daisy, to hold other mothers in theirs.

A gentle, safe place for women and families after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.

Come and be held

You are in the right place

If you have lost a pregnancy or a baby, you are in the right place. I am so glad you are here.

However you grieve is right, because it is yours. There are no stages to move through, and no stairs to climb. There is only your own path, at your own pace, held with love.

And you will not walk it alone.

A circle that understands

Held by Daisy is a warm community of women and families who know this loss, because they carry it too. Inside, you will find gentle company at any hour, a place to tell your baby’s story when you are ready, and the When Grief Lands program, a self-paced path through grief in your own voice.

Come and read quietly, or share when you feel safe. However you arrive, there is room for you.

When Grief Lands, You Are Held by Daisy

A gentle companion for the hardest walk, written to be read slowly, a page or a single line at a time. Not to sort your grief into stages, only to help you feel understood. It will meet you wherever you are.

Until Next Time

My memoir. The story of losing my son Robbie, and of the love that carried us through. For anyone looking for someone who truly understands, it is the book that opens the door.

Why I do this

I am a lifelong educator and a bereaved mother. For a long time I carried my grief in silence, the way so many of us are quietly taught to. Then I chose to turn it into a place where others would not have to carry theirs alone. That is Held by Daisy.
